Baby Showers, Retirement and more!

It has been pure craziness around our household lately! Last weekend we had our final two baby showers! It was such a fun weekend. A dear friend of mine through us an intimate couples shower where we played (or I should say Manny Played) a fun game and we had a time of prayer which was beyond amazing. Manny and I both felt covered in everyone's prayers and truly felt loved and supported in a way I don't think either of us had experience before. We left there that night feeling confident that as we begin to raise our son, we have a community of people around us that are committed to praying and supporting us. So thankful for that!
Our last shower was thrown by both my sisters and two dear friends, Hayes and Anne. It was such a blast. James got so many fun things! It was so nice to be surrounded by all of these girls that have walked through life with me at different stages. Here are a few pictures from the day.



Tomorrow marks my last day at my job! I have been with this company for 3 years now and after tomorrow will officially be retired! I will now be working for Rodrigues & Co. AKA Manny and James! :) As much as I am looking forward to this new chapter in life, it is also a bit scary. It is unknown and uncertain. But a job that I know I will LOVE every minute of. I consider it a privledge to be able to spend every day with my little guy. I wouldn't trade this job for anything in the world! I'm sure there will be posts to come about my new job! :)
